RAK from Heidi Williams at W&W

I've just gotta share the only good thing that has happened to me this week. (DH is back in hospital and getting better but still awaiting tests tomorrow).

Those of you who have visited my 365 blog, will know that I have become addicted to the Weeds and Wildflowers 365 goodies.

I posted a comment on the W&W blog about my weekend plans and was RAK'd by Miranda (Site CT). I won Heidi William's latest add-on to the 365 series Everyday Stickers. They're still on sale HERE if you're quick.

Look what Santa brought me!

A brand new Camera! It's a gorgeous 8mpixels and takes amazing photos. It's a Canon IXUS 80 IS and I love it. I have to do a blatant plug here for the awesome recommendation made to me by Forest Photo in Ringwood. I explained that the 1st camera that Santa delivered just wasn't up to standard. (Don't buy a Fujufilm A860, talk about pixelation and no way is this 8mp camera, it pixelates at anything above 24% of the photo size in photoshop. My faithful old Vivitar 4mp could do better than that!). We discussed the options and decided on the little Canon. What was even more awesome was that they were happy for me to bring it back, no questions asked the next day if I wasn't happy.
Now that is customer service you don't get from the likes of Curry's, Dixons and the other big stores.

I even got a free camera case and 2GB SD card. So a huge thank you, I am a very satisfied customer and thoroughly appreciate the personal touch and service. If you're ever in the New Forest and need some sound honest advice, pop along to Ringwood (a pretty nice place anyway) and drop in there for a browse. Here's a couple of quick pictures taken tonight. Here are 7 random facts about me:

1. I love Hobie Cat catamaran sailing but sadly don't have the time to do it any more.
2. I would love to gain my private pilot's licence and last year my DH treated me to an hour long aerobatics lesson at the local airfield. Boy was that fun, we did barrels rolls over Stonehenge, how awesome is that!
3. I only have 9 toes.
4. My all time favourite foods are asparagus, smoked salmon, mussels, pistachio ice cream and Belgian waffles with crème fraiche.
5. I get bored very easily and always have lots of projects on the go at once.
6. Despite living in the UK for over 28 years, I am still a Belgian Citizen. My family moved to the UK when I was 11 and ended up staying.
7. I never believed people, who said that having a child would alter your perception on life so much. I now know the meaning of unconditional love for another human being and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.
